The petitioner is in custody in connection with Terhagachh P.S. Case No.113 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 498 (A), 307, 323, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/ 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Referring to the allegation counsel for the petitioner submits that marriage between the parties took place 15 years back. On account of some differences between petitioner and informant, the petitioner has been made accused in the instant case. He further contended that the demand of dowry Rs. 20,000/- after 15 years of marriage is beyond comprehension. He

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.12691 of 2019(2) dt.01-03-2019 2/2 submits that petitioner is in custody since 20.11.2018. Considering the fact that petitioner is husband and marriage between the parties took place 15 years back, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Kishanganj, in connection with Terhagachh P.S. Case No. 113 of 2018.
