The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bhore P.S. Case No. 10 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a), 35 and 38 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 50.40 liters of illicit liquor from the bushes and the petitioner is said to have been apprehended from the spot, whereupon he disclosed that he has brought the said liquor from Uttar Pradesh. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10566 of 2019(2) dt.21-02-2019 2/2 and is languishing in custody since 10.01.2019. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge Excise, Gopalganj in connection with Bhore P.S.
