The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No.531 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

Allegation against the petitioner is to have demanded extortion money of a sum of Rs. 5,00,000/- through mobile call bearing mobile No. 7070182856.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that recovered mobile and SIM is not belonging to this petitioner, where, the recovered mobile and SIM belongs to the co-accused, namely,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15380 of 2024(2) dt.12-03-2024 2/2 Kausik Kumar, who is juvenile and has already been granted bail by Juvenile Justice Board. It is further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from conscious physical possession of this petitioner, which may connect him with the present set of occurrence. It is further submitted that petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and he is in custody since 29.10.2023.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and period of custody, let the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No.531 of 2023 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi.
