The petitioner has prayed for directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground in lieu of the death of her husband on 06.12.2015, whereafter the petitioner is said to have filed an application on 20.04.2016, however no action has been taken by the respondents. 2.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner herein, the District Magistrate, Samastipur is directed to take steps to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground and pass necessary orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from today.
