The petitioner seeks bail in Atri P. S. Case No. 8 of 2017 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) (d) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

The police raided the place on information that some persons were manufacturing illegal liquor. Both the petitioners were apprehended and from their possession 20 and 30 liters Mahua wine respectively were recovered and also some other items were recovered from there which were being used for manufacturing illegal Mahua wine. The petitioner is in jail since 26.01.2017. The petitioner has remained in jail for about two months.

No.11896 of 2017 (2) dt.18-03-2017 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioners are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-1, Gaya in Atri P. S. Case No. 08 of 2017.
