This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the possession of the petitioner about 80 liters of foreign wine was allegedly recovered on 17.02.2017. the offence is punishable with imprisonment of ten years. However, in perfunctory manner prosecution report has been submitted without proper investigation of the case on the date of seizure itself.

In the circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 61 of 2017 to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge, II, Jehanabad, or successor Court.
