The petitioner seeks bail in Danapur P.S. case No. 503 of 2014 under Section 498A, 420 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that petitioner, after marriage, subjected her to physical and mental torture due to non fulfillment of demand of additional dowry.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was granted provisional anticipatory bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 24150 of 2015 as the petitioner was ready to keep his wife. When the petitioner came out of court, the father of informant, with the help of others, caught him and took him to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20454 of 2017 (2) dt.03-05-2017 2/2 police station after lodging a fresh case but the petitioner has already been enlarged on bail immediately thereafter. It is further submitted that the provisional anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner was cancelled and petitioner was taken into custody. The petitioner is in jail since 22.03.2017.

Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that petitioner is in jail since 22.03.2017, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, Patna in Danapur P.S. Case No. 503 of 2014.
