Patna High Court CWJC No.17474 of 2018(6) dt.12-01-2023 2/2 petitioner has wrongly been declared surplus by the Collector, Bhagalpur. The details of the land has been mentioned in paragraph 5 of the writ application.

There is provision of appeal against the order passed by the Collector under Section 30 of the Bihar Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling Area and Acquisition of Surplus Land) Act, 1961.

In view of the alternative remedy, this writ application is disposed with liberty to the petitioner to file appeal before appropriate forum in accordance with law.
