This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Katihar Town P.S. Case No.882 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under sections 8(c),21(b), 22(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

There is recovery of 11.5 grams of smack, Rs.5400/- and one motorcycle from the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 23.11.2024. He claims to have clean antecedent.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and also the fact that he has clean antecedent, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10097 of 2025(2) dt.06-03-2025 2/2 on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Katihar / concerned Court below, in connection with Katihar Nagar P.S. Case No.882 of 2024. 6.
At the time of accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner, the Court below shall verify the fact whether the petitioner has clean antecedent or not. If it is found that he has clean antecedent, the court below shall accept his bail bonds and if it is found that he is accused in other cases also then his bail bonds shall not be accepted by the Court below.
