23-06-2020 Heard learned counsel for the parties through video conferencing.

Two petitioners seek bail in Naubatpur P.S. Case No. 196 of 2016 registered for the offence under Sections 341/323/354/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8/12 of POCSO Act.

As per prosecution case, while the minor daughter of informant was returning home, the petitioners intercepted her and used filthy language and when she objected, she was assaulted by petitioners. It is also alleged that petitioners also tried to pick up daughter of the informant on the vehicle, but due to alarm being raised by daughter of informant, nearby

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11314 of 2020(2) dt.23-06-2020 2/2 shopkeepers came there and petitioners fled away. It is submitted on behalf of petitioners that petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics.

However, from perusal of material available on record and considering the specific allegation against these petitioners, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to them.
