The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Darauli P.S. Case No. 299 of 2020 registered under Sections 272, 273 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case due to dirty local politics. Further he submits that the alleged recovery has been made from the joint house constructed upon the ancestral land in which his brothers and their family members also reside, as mentioned in the supplementary affidavit. Further he submits that petitioner has no concern with the seized materials.
