Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

36 liters of liquor was allegedly recovered from the motorcycle on which the petitioner was also there. Petitioner was apprehended at the spot. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 30.12.2019. There is no material to substantiate that petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like

No.14753 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sikty P.S.Case No.214 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No.1731 of 2019, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
