The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No.446 of 2019 registered under Sections 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that in the morning of 25.12.2019, one Akhilesh Kumar came at Kharagpur Police Station and gave information that the iron rod was loaded on his truck bearing Registration No.BR01GE-7962 but, in the way, unknown miscreants caught hold the driver and khalasi of the truck and looted the truck loaded with iron rod. In the truck, GPS was fitted. On the basis of the GPS location, the informant along with other police personnel and Akhilesh Kumar proceeded for

On query, Gautam Kumar disclosed that the same was kept by Rajeev Kumar and Sanjay Verma (petitioner) along with their three other associates.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come in this case on the basis of the confessional statement of Gautam Kumar from whose house, the iron rod is said to be recovered. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 25.12.2019. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Munger, in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No.446 of 2019.
