In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Dehri (Nagar) P.S. Case No. 73 of 2019, registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. About 4300 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a Truck bearing Registration No. HR39B-3729 and one of the persons, who is the owner of the said truck has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No.63803 of 2019. It reflects from the registration number of the said truck that the same is of Harayana. So far this petitioner is

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10584 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 concerned, he is the resident of Bihar and it has come during the investigation that the said liquor was carrying for the benefit of this petitioner.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected.
