The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 472, 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that this petitioner, by manipulating the electric meter, gave new connection to the consumers in lieu of illegal gratification.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has become victim of false implication. As a matter of fact, the informant has changed the connection of several villagers after receiving illegal money and only to save his skin, he lodged the present false case against petitioner. Petitioner is simply a meter reader and has got no power to change the connection of the consumer.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, let the above named petitioner be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M. Bikramganj, Rohtas in connection with Suryapura P.S. Case No. 64 of 2022, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) anay/- U T
