The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Guthani P.S. Case No. 231 of 2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a), 38(i) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 180 liters of illicit foreign liquor from an I-20 car.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no concern either with the vehicle in question or recovered illicit liquor as has been stated in paragraph-8 of the bail petition. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 2nd-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Siwan in connection with Guthani P.S. Case No. 231 of 2018.
