Petitioner is in custody in connection with Jehanabad Mahila P.S. Case No. 82 of 2016 registered under sections 341, 323, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that this petitioner used to torture his wife, the informant of this case, on account of non-fulfillment of dowry, ultimately ousted her from the matrimonial home. It is submitted that the marriage of petitioner with the informant was solemnized nine years back. He is a Group-D railway employee. It is next submitted that this false case was lodged only after divorce suit was filed by the petitioner on the ground of adultery.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6613 of 2017 (2) dt.15-02-2017 Considering the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Bal Krishna Yadav @ Bal Krishna Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad Mahila P.S.
