The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant was married to the petitioner about three years prior to the occurrence. She was abused, assaulted and beaten up for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and ultimately she was done to death.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only on account of his being the husband of the deceased. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature and there is no eye witness to the occurrence. The petitioner is in custody since

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11004 of 2022(3) dt.19-12-2022 2/2 15.2.2021 and undertake to cooperate in the trial. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner who happens to be the husband of the deceased together with the contents of the report of the F.S.L., the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
