JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 16-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 465 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 30, 30(G)(1)(2) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act. It is alleged that total 400 liters country-made liquor has been recovered from the house of this petitioner kept in a 'Dram'

It further appears from para 3 of the bail petition that petitioner is accused in another case under section 30(A) of Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Keeping in view recovery of huge quantity of country-made liquor from possession of this petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant bail to petitioner at this stage. The prayer

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8735 of 2017 (2) dt.16-03-2017 2/2 for bail of petitioner is accordingly rejected. The petitioner may renew prayer for bail after six months, if no substantive progress is made in the trial.
