Apprehending his arrest in Sahebganj P.S. Case No. 189 of 2014 registered under sections 304, 365, 326 and 307 IPC, the petitioner has filed the present application for grant of anticipatory bail. The informant has alleged that he was confined in the house of one Sandeep Kumar Singh where the accused persons, including the petitioner, brutally assaulted him and was later thrown on the road. The manner in which the assault was inflicted has been described in the FIR. The motive has also been assigned by the complainant/informant.

Mr. Dayal, APP, while opposing the prayer, has placed the impugned order of the learned Sessions Judge. Looking to the allegations and the manner in which the

No.12516 of 2016 (2) dt.31-03-2016 2/2 informant was subjected to assault at the hands of the accused(s), including the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer is rejected. The petitioner should surrender and seek regular bail in the court below.
