The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 341, 323, 354 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, it is stated by the informant that the petitioner wanted to interact with her and for the same had also beaten up her sister. On the date of occurrence he came and asked her to accompany him and on her resistance he beat her up and also pointed a pistol towards her. Subsequently, he pleaded that the matter should not be reported. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. No injury has been caused to any person. The petitioner surrendered on 11.1.2021 and is in custody since then. He has no criminal

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, the materials on record together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over eight months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khaira P.S. Case no. 357 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Saran at Chapra.
