The petitioner is accused in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No. 121 of 2016, registered under Sections 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that, on 07.09.2016, at 8.30 A.M., when the informant was present in her field then petitioner reached there and carried her in his maize field forcible and tried to commit rape on her. On protest, informant caused cut injury through blade to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in fact, informant was cutting the grass in the field of the petitioner and on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8204 of 2017 (2) dt.10-03-2017 protest, informant caused cut injury through sickle to the petitioner, regarding which, Patahi P.S. Case No. 122 of 2016 is instituted on the basis of statement of the petitioner. It is further submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 10.09.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-I, East Chamaran at Motihari, in connection with Patahi P.S.
