The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 420, 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, the accused persons including the petitioner herein who were tenants in the house of the informant opened a jewellery shop. It is further stated that the accused persons took 305 gms and 303 gms of gold from the informant's wife as also the wife of his younger brother on the promise that the same would be returned and for this had executed a hand note. However, instead of returning the same, they left the premises without any information. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any

The petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 10 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Begusarai Town P.S. Case no.564 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai.
