Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No.34 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 511, 506 and 448 of Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel submits that although allegation of attempted rape is present but the informant has retracted from her statement and has filed a petition informing settlement of the dispute.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the submissions in the backdrop of the allegations, let the petitioner namely, Manoj Bhagat in the event of his

No.4939 of 2016 (2) dt.17-03-2016 2/2 arrest/surrender within four weeks from today, be released on bail upon furnishing bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 34 of 2015 subject to the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
