The learned counsel for the parties are in agreement that the present case is squarely covered by a judgment dated 17.07.2017 passed in CWJC no. 17670 of 2017 by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is allowed and the respondent-university is directed to treat the petitioner as absorbed employee and restore the same status and grant
