JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-02-2020 The petitioner, who is in custody since 11.12.2019, seeks bail in connection with Excise Case No. 1421 of 2019, dated 10.12.2019, instituted for the offence under Section 30 (a)(c)(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

It appears that 200 litres of locally brewed liquor and apparatus for making and packing such liquor was recovered on raid from the banks of a river. The petitioner was arrested there.

Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner and nature of recovery which is from an

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11253 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 open place and his clean antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court of Additional Sessions Judge, VII-cum-Special Judge (Excise) in connection with Excise Case No. 1421 of 2019.

This application stands allowed.
