In this case the petitioner is seeking release of the amount which is standing in the name of his father late Girja Shankar Singh, who died on 10.2.2006.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has approached to the Bank but, he has got no fruitful result. Learned counsel for the Bank submits that the petitioner must approach to the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Biharshariff Branch, Nai Sarai, Biharshariff, Nalanda and fill up the form and also satisfy certain terms and conditions which is obligatory
Patna High Court CWJC No.16607 of 2015 dt.04-05-2017 for release of the money to the petitioner and other heirs. If the petitioner fills up the form and files relevant records, the Bank will be obliged to release the money without delay. In the meantime, if permissible, the Branch Manager, State Bank of India may invest the money, in question, which is earning the maximum interest.
With the aforementioned observation, this application is disposed of.
