JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL ORDER 17-01-2019 It is submitted by Counsel for the NIT that the petitioner's claim for arrears of remuneration for the period between 1989 to 2000 when he had worked at the center for Water Resource Studies, cannot be made from them. It is submitted that during the said period the center was being funded by the grants from the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India.

In view of such submission of the Counsel for the NIT, which is based on the averments made in the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent Nos. 3 to 5, Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this writ petition

Patna High Court CWJC No.1651 of 2016(4) dt.17-01-2019 2/2 with liberty to approach the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India for the aforesaid relief. Since the claim raised by the petitioner is very old and with respect to a period 14 years earlier, it is expected that if the petitioner genuinely desirous of availing of the liberty granted by this Court then he should stake his claim within a period of four weeks from today.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
