The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 30A and 56 of the Bihar Excise Prohibition Amendment Act, 2016.

The petitioner was apprehended and 288 bottles of English wine kept in six cartons were recovered from the pick up van in which the petitioner was sitting. Each bottle contains 180 ml English wine.

It is submitted that about 52 liters foreign liquor was recovered for that the petitioner is in jail since 30.10.2016. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than 4 1⁄2 months. Other two accused persons Rohit Kumar and Sonu Singh have already been enlarged on bail by a coordinate bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 1373 of 2017.
