The petitioner seeks bail in Pupri P.S. Case No.163 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 401, 414 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted that police apprehended one Bolero vehicle on secret information on which the petitioner and other three persons were found sitting. It has also been submitted that one of the occupants of the vehicle Vikram Prasad has already been granted bail by coordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 02.12.2016 passed in Cr.Misc.No.52071 of 2016. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 11.08.2016.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7258 of 2017 (2) dt.01-03-2017 let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Pupri, Sitamarhi in connection with Pupri P.S. Case No.163 of 2016, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
