The petitioner is in custody in connection with G.O Case No.498 of 2016 registered for an offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016. Allegation is that this petitioner along with others was coming from Jharkhand side on his vehicle and from his vehicle, police seized 27 liters of wine.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has denied the recovery of wine from his vehicle. He is in custody since 03.11.2016.

However, learned APP opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on
