The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.441 of 2016 registered under Sections 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that on 12.11.2016, the mother-in-law of the informant was accompanied by the petitioner but she did not return. In course of search, the dead body of the mother-in-law of the informant was found in a pond on 15.11.2016. Further allegation of the informant is that her mother-in-law was accompanied by the petitioner in spite of protest. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10712 of 2017 (3) dt.03-05-2017 2/2 submits that except suspicion raised by the informant, no tangible material has been collected by the Investigation Officer, in course of investigation, to show the involvement of the petitioner in committing the murder of the deceased, the mother-in-law of the informant. The petitioner having no criminal antecedent is in custody since 23.11.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea, in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.441 of 2016.
