Mr. Ajay Kumar Jha, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 07-04-2021 Heard Mr. Rajeev Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Ajay Kumar Jha, learned APP for the State through video conferencing.

Petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in connection with Dhanarua PS Case No. 85/2018 for the offence registered under Section 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act, inasmuch as the earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Cr. Misc. No. 23621/2020 by order dated 09.11.2020 giving liberty to the petitioner that he may renew his prayer for bail afresh after three months.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 03.02.2020 i.e., for about more than a year.

Having regard to the submissions made by the parties

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21178 of 2021(2) dt.07-04-2021 2/2 and taking into consideration the fact that pursuant to the order dated 09.11.2020, petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail afresh after three months, I am inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, let the petitioner, ARUN KUMAR SINGH @ ARUN SINGH @ ARUN KUMAR be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Masaurhi, Patna in connection with Dhanarua PS Case No. 85/2018. Needless to say that the parties while furnishing bail bonds will abide by the covid protocol of social/physical distancing.
