In view of report received from the trial court dated 28.03.2017 stating that prosecution evidence has been closed and statement of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has also been recorded on 28.03.2017, it is now for the petitioner to ensure that the defence witnesses are produced followed by arguments. Thus, the Court, keeping in view the fact that the trial has reached its final stage, is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
