The petitioner claims that he has filed application for firearm licence on 27.11.2015 but no decision has been taken as yet by the Licensing Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur.

Accordingly, this writ petition is being disposed of with a direction to the Licensing Authority-cum-District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur to take a final decision in the matter in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the same has not already been done.
