Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to submit the original petition along with attested affidavits and also remove all the defects pointed out by the Registry within two weeks from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has done 24 months D.El.Ed and NIOS course, whereas the candidates who have done 18 months D.El.Ed and NIOS course are being appointed, while he should have been considered on preferential basis.

In the opinion of this Court, once the N.C.T.E. has recognized and granted equivalence to D.El.Ed and NIOS

Patna High Court CWJC No.9524 of 2021(2) dt.23-06-2022 2/2 course of 18 months as equivalence to 24 months, claim on preferential basis of those, who have done 24 months course is not made out. The selection has to be done solely on inter se merit and no preferential claim is made out for the petitioner. The writ petition is mis-conceived and is accordingly dismissed.
