This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 323, 376, 498A and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The informant is mother of two children. She developed intimacy and physical relation with the petitioner, who is devar of the informant. The petitioner had promised to marry with her. However, even after abortion of two children, the marriage was not solemnized. Apparently, the matter is of consensual sex. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Mahila (Bahadurpur) P.S. Case No. 108 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Laheriasarai at Darbhanga, or successor Court. (Birendra Kumar, J) SA/- U √ T √
