2. The application is filed for initiation of a contempt proceeding against opposite parties for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 05.08.2019 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 18188 of 2015 by a Bench of this Court, whereby the learned Court having considered the facts that the Gas Agency has already been closed, so the question of reinstatement of private respondents does not arise, hence, the impugned award dated 26.02.2015 passed by the learned Labour Court, Dalmianagar was modified to the extent in place of reinstatement with back wages, the management was directed to pay Rs. 75,000/- by way of compensation to each of the workmen-private respondents.

3. Mr. Nand Lal Kumar, learned Advocate representing the opposite party Nos. 3, 4 and 5 submitted that in compliance with the order of this Court, the concerned opposite parties have issued seven cheques for an amount of Rs. 75,000/- in favour of each of the petitioners.

4. Learned Advocate for the petitioners accepts all the cheques on behalf of the petitioners in the Court.

5. In view of the aforesaid facts, the present contempt proceeding stands dropped.

6.Learned Advocate for the petitioners is requested to make the acknowledgment regarding receipt of seven cheques in the margin of the order sheet.
