The petitioners seek bail in Salaiya P.S. Case No. 02/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Act, 2016.

The police recovered 45 litres of country-made liquor made of 'Mahua' and other articles meant for manufacturing country-made liquor from jungle of Chalho mountain. The petitioners were apprehended by the police.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have falsely been implicated in the case. They have no manner of concern with the seized country-made liquor.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12384 of 2017 (2) dt.20-03-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that 45 litres of country-made liquor made of 'Mahua' and other articles recovered from the possession of the petitioners and for that petitioners remained in jail for more than two months, the petitioners above-named, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad in connection with Salaiya P.S. Case No. 02/2017.
