2. This application is filed for modification of order dated 23.05.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32965 of 2024.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioners have been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 23.05.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32965 of 2024, by which the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail with a direction to surrender before the Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13212 of 2025(2) dt.21-02-2025 2/2 amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court concerned, Madhubani in connection with Rajnagar P.S. Case No. 290 of 2023, subject to conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, due to unavoidable circumstances, the petitioner no.2, Raghuveer Paswan @ Raghuvir Paswan could not furnish the bail bonds before the Court below within the stipulated time.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to extend the time for furnishing the bail bond of the petitioner no.2.
5. In view of the above, let the time to surrender of the petitioner no.2, as ordered on 23.05.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32965 of 2024 be further extended by four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
6. Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 23.05.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 32965 of 2024. is modified to the above extent. (Chandra Prakash Singh, J) shivam/- U T
