The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Khagaria (Gangour) P.S. Case No. 929 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2018.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is general and omnibus allegation against her. Petitioner is a lady and has no criminal history. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that on perusal of the first information report and seizure list, it appears that petitioner was apprehended while she was preparing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20962 of 2021(2) dt.22-01-2022 2/2 country made liquor in her own residential house. Hence, petitioner does not deserve to be enlarged on anticipatory bail. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
