The petitioner, who is a lady and aged about 74 years, is in custody in connection with Complaint Case No. 1300 of 2004 for the offence under Sections 498A and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in this case other co-accused have been granted bail, but the prayer for bail of the petitioner was refused on the ground that she surrendered on 04.11.2019 in a complaint case of 2004. Considering the fact that the petitioner is a lady and aged about 74 years and also the fact that other co-accused have been granted bail, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees
