This writ petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order or direction and commanding the respondent-authorities to record the name of the petitioner in the Chak Khatiyan after removing the name of the State of Bihar. The said land is settled by the Govt. of Bihar on the ground that the petitioner was landless person. Further to take legal action against the respondent-authorities for the negligent attitude after several representations filed by the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this

Patna High Court CWJC No.17795 of 2018(2) dt.24-03-2025 2/2 case may be disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner for filing an appropriate petition before the respondent no. 3 the Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Rohtas for redressal of his grievance.

4. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to this prayer of the petitioner.

5. In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to file the application/representation before the respondent no. 3 the Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Rohtas for redressal of his grievance.

6. On filing the application/representation by the petitioner within four weeks, the respondent no. 3 the Land Reforms Deputy Collector, Rohtas is directed to dispose of the said application/representation expeditiously in accordance with law.
