2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Kusheshwar Sthan P.S. Case No. 78 of 2024 dated 08.04.2024 registered for the offences punishable u/ss 363, 365, 341, 342, 323 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a, 26 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have kidnapped the informant and took her to his house where he assaulted her and pointed katta on her but during scuffle, the victim snatched the said katta and hid the same in her waist. It is further alleged that the petitioner took her to a maize field and confined her and also threatened her. The informant was weeping in the maize field and in the

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Learned counsel has further submitted that no occurrence has taken place as stated in the F.I.R. There is no eye witness to the alleged occurrence. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 27.05.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court concerned, Darbhanga in connection with Kusheshwar Sthan P.S. Case No. 78 of 2024.

7. The application stands allowed.
