The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sabour P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017 registered under Sections 30(A) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Accusation is of recovery of 4 bottles, each containing 375 ML, of Indian made country liquor and 60 pouches, each containing 200 ML, of country made liquor kept in a bag which were carrying by the petitioner.

Submission is that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 12.03.2017. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20037 of 2017 (2) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Sabour P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017.
