It is the case of the petitioner that certain portion of his land has been utilized by the State-respondents for the purpose of construction of approach road to a bridge. The description of the land has been given in paragraph 6 of the writ application.

It is the petitioner's grievance that he has not been compensated though his private land has been acquired for

Patna High Court CWJC No.8688 of 2019(2) dt.26-04-2019 2/2 public purpose.

The petitioner has referred to the Bihar Raiyati Land Lease Policy, 2014 of the State Government for payment of amount of compensation.

In my opinion, considering the nature of grievance, which the petitioner is making, it would have been appropriate for him to have approached the Public Grievance Redressal Forum constituted under the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015 (in short 'the Act').

This application is disposed of with the observation that the petitioner may approach the Public Grievance Redressal Officer under the Act. If he files any application, the Court expects the competent authority to consider his case and pass appropriate order accordingly.
