The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Excise Case No. 486 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) and (d) of the Excise Act.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. There is general and omnibus allegation against him. Petitioner has no criminal history.

Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner by contending that on perusal of seizure list, it appears that alleged recovery of 20 litres of country made liquor and 200 K.g. of Jawa Mahua has

Having considered the facts and submissions made on behalf of the parties, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer of the petitioner is rejected.
