Learned counsel for the State submits that the Chowkidar Cader Rules, 2014 has been struck down as unconstitutional by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Devmuni Paswan vs. State of Bihar reported in (2023) 2 PLJR 425 which has also been upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP Civil No. 18983 of 2023.

3. This writ petition having been filed by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4178 of 2019(3) dt.23-02-2026 2/2 petitioners seeking relief on the basis of the aforenoted rules, which has been struck down by the Division Bench of this Court and upheld by Hon'ble Supreme Court as noted hereinabove, the writ petition stands disposed off as infructuous.
