The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lakhisarai (Amhra) P.S. Case No.969 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 329/420 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

Allegation against this petitioner is to have misappropriated crores of rupees of C.S.P. of the concerned Bank.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR, where, his name surfaced during course of the investigation, on the basis of confessional statement of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13978 of 2024(2) dt.01-03-2024 2/2 other co-accused person, namely, Bharat Kumar. It is submitted that nothing incriminating surfaced during course of investigation which may suggest that this petitioner is connected with the present set of occurrence. It is further submitted that petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and he is in custody since 18.12.2023.

Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.

Considering the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail in connection with Lakhisarai (Amhra) P.S. Case No.969 of 2023 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai.
