The present writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondents to either pay ex-gratia amount or appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Bank would submit that the respondent bank will take appropriate decision with regard to compassionate appointment or ex-gratia within a reasonable time.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent bank to take final decision with regard to claim of the petitioner for either compassionate

Patna High Court CWJC No.19341 of 2018(2) dt.08-06-2020 2/2 appointment or ex-gratia, if not already taken within a period of three months in accordance with law including the judgment of the Apex Court in this regard from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
